Year 2 Goal: 5,0002025–2026 · Upcoming

Building a statewide coalition

One of our Year 1 goals is to bring together animal welfare nonprofits across Minnesota — creating a unified voice for policy change and funding.

  • Coordinate with other MN animal welfare organizations to avoid duplication
  • Present a unified case to city and state government for increased funding
  • Share resources, volunteers, and best practices across organizations
  • Amplify advocacy impact through collective action

Why a coalition?

Individual nonprofits have limited reach with policymakers. A coordinated coalition of animal welfare organizations across the Twin Cities and Minnesota speaks with far greater authority — and gets results.

SPASA is committed to being a convener, not just a participant. We'll help build the infrastructure this coalition needs to be effective long-term.

Year 1–2 Priority

Help us reach our Year 1 goal

Every founding donation — large or small — moves SPASA closer to making a real difference for St. Paul's animals.
